Round Mountain Organic Farm and Sustainable Homestead For Sale

Dear Gunnison Valley Community,

After 16 years of homesteading at the base of Round Mountain, I’m ready to move to town! Believe it or not but an era is about to come to an end. I have countless friends and former strangers to thank for the endless hours of volunteering at the farm to make it what it is today. I couldn’t have done it without all of you. The college students from WSC have been especially instrumental in the past few years.

When I moved to the farm in 1992 there wasn’t even a driveway there. I guess I’m a developer as well as a farmer. Since the farm is full of very unique systems such as an off-the-grid electrical system and a solar thermal heating system and a wall of water to keep the greenhouse a year-round growing space, I’ll be selling the farm without a realtor. Realtors are more than welcome to show their clients the farm with my guided tour.
